That's the first time I heard one of your podcasts I have seen the videos both of which I think are good. I have only been in the Chair since March but I think you are right about learning from older Brothers but as you said they must know what they are talking about before trying to teach others. At my last meeting of our year I told all of the light blues to ask the dark blues what being in the lodge is about. And to learn from what they find out. But as you said it will only work if the person you ask knows what he is talking about. And I think that only comes with time.

MW Cameron, your position on lodge meetings being saturated with Masonic Light, as in education, alligns with my point of view. I am allowed to do "Tyler Talks" towards the end of the general stated meeting. I tire of the same old business agenda. I see men come to meetings at the beginning and then disappear. So much of what is on the "agenda" could be taken care of in an "executive meeting." I just don't know how to change the direction of the lodge. We have some "old timers" who would consider it as a masonic violation to ignore the introductions and committee reports. Thank you for stating what many of us are thinking.
