We have three really great Masonic events coming up here in the Pacific Northwest that I wanted to make everyone aware of.

Saturday, March 21

In lil’ ol’ Centralia!

My Lodge, Centralia Lodge will be hosting and sponsoring the Cascadia Mystic Convergence. If you’ve ever been interested in Tarot and the world of woo and magick that surrounds it, this will be a great event for you.

While not a part of Freemasonry, the Tarot, as we understand it today, was largely developed by Freemasons for the exploration of their inner selves and this event is in keeping with that long tradition.

A full day of excellent speakers has been planned, and our Lodge is really easy to get to from anywhere on the west coast of Washington and Oregon because we are located only a couple blocks from the Amtrak station, and trains from both Portland and Seattle run very frequently.

Come on down to Centralia Lodge and unleash your intuition!

Portland, Oregon Scottish Rite

Here in the Pacific Northwest we are certainly all familiar with our Craft Lodge Degrees. Most of us have probably seen the Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason Degrees more times than we can remember.

But, probably not all that many Masons here realize that the Scottish Rite has its own version of these Degrees. Worked in only a very few Craft Lodges within the United States.

This is our opportunity to see one of those Scottish Rite Craft Degrees performed.

Germania Lodge No. 46, from the Grand Lodge of Louisiana will be traveling up to the truly amazing and beautiful Portland Scottish Rite Temple to perform the Scottish Rite version of the Entered Apprentice Degree.

This is a very rare opportunity in our part of the world, and it is being made available to all Master Masons.

What can I say? It’s probably best to avoid any event that would have me as a guest speaker!

Seriously though, in my extensive Masonic travels, Masons continually ask for more esoteric discussion, and Verity Lodge is delivering just that with it’s Esotericon Northwest event.

A full day with great speakers (and me) from here and beyond, if you are interested in the esoteric side of Freemasonry, you don’t want to miss this day.

Speakers include Warren Baxter, John Lawson, Sam Block, Austin Shifrin, and Timothy Hogan.

Esotericon Northwest

Three really unique events right here in the Pacific Northwest this spring and summer. I hear Masons asking for just this kind of thing all the time, so let’s get out there and support each of these events so that they can thrive and grow!
