“The machinery is founded on the Rosicrucian doctrine, which peoples each of the four elements with a peculiar class of spirits” and the author has “endeavoured to shew them as representing the different energies of nature, exerted in producing the various changes that take place in the physical world.”
-Eleanor Anne Porden (b. 1795 - d. 1825)1
Contemplating the quote above, I find much value and truth contained within it. I hope that you do as well.
Emeth is primarily designed as an email newsletter, with each post being delivered to your email box as it is published. I presume that most who read it, do so right there, in their email application.
But, of course, each post is also published on the web, here at emeth.substack.com. I know that some people come to read the posts on the web each day, especially those who discover the posts via social media.
Today, I would like to let you know about a third option for reading Emeth, participating in our discussions, and watching the videos. That third way is through the substack app. The app was launched some time ago, but I held off posting about it for some time, wanting to make sure that time was given to ensure that the bugs would be worked out of it. I use it on Android, and I think it works exceptionally well. I understand that it works just as well on iOS. If you would like to give it a try, it is available in the app and play stores, or you can just click the link below.
A benefit of the app is a chat feature. I’ve been experimenting with it, and hope to roll it out as a part of Emeth soon. Think of it as a little version of Twitter, but just for us. A private space for conversation open to all who subscribe to Emeth.
As quoted in the paper ‘The Peculiar Alchemical Research of John Flaxman, John Tul, and Fabian Ekenstam (1776-1818) by Marsha Keith Schuchard, PhD; Heredom Vol. 29, Scottish Rite Research Society.
I recieve the emails and will read them typically off of there. But If I want to read comments or post my own, it's on the site itself I go. I also appreciate you posting to FB as well.
And sometimes, I open the site to read old articles for nuggets of wisdom as well.
Thank you for your continued dedication to our craft MW
Having multiple ways to interact with the content you provide is ideal, especially if you (the content provider) can automate those ways and reduce the admin costs on your time. I'm all about efficiency and redundancy, life in IT you know.
I appreciate getting each method of contact because I may want to consume it differently depending on my mood or setting. Thanks for looking at new ways to share your Light and engage the Craft en masse.
