This And That
Masonic events of interest
This week I’ll be speaking at two different Table Lodges, one on each side of our State. On Tuesday night I’ll be over at Richland Lodge in the Tri-Cities. On Saturday night I’ll be at Tenino Lodge, just south of our State Capitol.
I’ll be speaking on the topic of:
“Is Freemasonry Brain-Dead?”
Sorry, no spoilers, if you want to hear my conclusion you’ll have to contact one of the Lodges above and join me in person!
Or wait until the text of my remarks is eventually posted here on Emeth. I promise that I won’t hold out on you!
On September 20, we will be having a truly excellent day of Masonry, with amazing food, and a truly unique Fellowcraft Degree.
Please join us!

Planning The Great Masonic Party
I really hope that you’ll be able to join us on Saturday, September 20! It will be a truly wonderful day, and night, of Freemasonry.
Recently I wrote about our new Grand Master’s plan to create a scholarship program for our Lodge Leadership Retreat here in Washington. You can read that post here.
This scholarship program is going to be made possible with seed money raised at this year’s Annual Suit Up for Charity Gala. Our Jurisdiction’s largest fundraising event each year.
It will be held on September 27, in Tukwila, WA.
Contact the Grand Lodge Office for more details.
September 5-7 will see the Annual Northwest Tarot Symposium returning once again to Portland, Oregon. (Technically, Clackamas) I believe that this is one of the most respected events of its kind to take place each year. I look forward to attending once again.
What does this have to do with Freemasonry?
A lot.
The occult Tarot as we understand it today was largely, if not almost fully developed by English and French Freemasons. The connection is strong, if largely forgotten today.
Please see topic No. 1 above. 😎
All the details for the upcoming Symposium can be found at:
Related to that, recently I’ve been posting about Tarot much more frequently in recent weeks. If you are interested, those writings can be found at:
I mean, talk about Freemasonry:
But I also hope to hear about you, and your Lodge.
What Masonic plans do you have in the upcoming months?
What is your Lodge planning in the upcoming months?
Please let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear about what you are doing!

I am looking forward to the Sept. 20th BBQ and perhaps I can convince the misses to check out the symposium...
