Yes it was great and a long day for this old timer.
As your JD I couldn't see you several times but I guess you not seeing me means you aren't sure of I made any mistakes and at times I couldn't hear the WM but I did have fun since I have done the JD outside there before but that was the first time in the after dark and if I did better with my *sunshine* Masonic dance maybe we would have had a clear sky since in the middle of this Degree our new Fellowcraft got to have the International Space Station fly right over him (8:58pm)
BUT no rain was a great thing for us out there too.
And of course I got to do the 3 knocks on the fir tree with my gavel and our Tyler got to use a stick he found for his part.
If I knew in advance I have lots of these lightbulbs that once charged up they last a while and we could have used those in the East (they look just like the old incandescent bulbs)
I did have to spend sunday to recover from the long day and maybe fall asleep now since it is close to 4am right now and we do have the Stated meeting on monday.
ALWAYS great to see you MW and all the ones I already know and the new ones I had fun talking to.
I think the ONLY thing that didn’t work out on Saturday was that you weren’t able to bring your Cutlass to the Lodge, for totally understandable reasons. Everything else worked out great! MW Cameron and VW Arnie have plans to build on the degree for next year, so let the countdown begin!
Oh, yeah, there was that thing about the SD lantern during the second section – I must admit, it’s the first time I’ve ever done Middle Chamber ritual while trying to stuff “D” batteries into a lantern in the dark. And even then, that succeeded, as I got the light back just in time to make the trek to the East!
And then a clear starry night with the light of that International Space Station flying above us during the Degree
Like tonight at 9pm and a nice one on tuesday night
Sep 17 8:12 PM, Visible: 7 min, Max Height: 65°, Appears: 10° above W, Disappears: 11° above ENE....it may be cloudy on tuesday but it looks like a clear night on wednesday .....if you need the time for that night you know where I am Brothers

Next year, FIRE!
Thank you for coming W Brother, and for serving as JD in the Degree! It was great seeing you again!
Congrats Brother Chad!
Our Brother did good!
Hopefully we have guaranteed sunshine and clear sky so I can bring her to the Lodge.
You did a great job finding those batteries when they tried to escape and even held them inside the lantern and continued the Degree.
We did look on the ground with the light of the SW's cell phone but couldn't see anything
Now it is 1:30pm here so I better see if I can get up and maybe make it to the Stated at #107 later tonight
Great seeing you there on saturday RW
Next year, all sun, all the way! I decree it so!
Well, at least until it sets...

I love the delightful red truck! It’s sounds like a good time was had by all. Nice Cameron! ✨💜✨
Yeah, that old Fire Truck is awesome! The Lodge uses it in area parades.
