I did the Free Will through the Supreme Council and it was VERY easy. Getting it notarized was the hardest part by far.

One thing that I thought was neat was that if you leave anything to the Scottish Rite you get to be a member of the "Intendant of the Building" society. Beyond my love for the Scottish Rite, in Arkansas support for the Scottish Rite is also support for our craft lodges so I went on and named our foundation a beneficiary.

The donor officer presented me with a tie, pocket jewel, and a stole for my wife. It was a very nice gesture!

Very glad to know that the tool is easy to use! It seems like a tremendous benefit, my wife and I had new wills drawn up recently, the cost to do so was almost a thousand dollars.

This would be a great savings, and a super easy way to make a meaningful impact for Freemasonry.

Great idea! And one I will greatly consider. I don’t have heirs, so thank you! I’ll learn more about it. ✨🤗✨

Heirs can be complicated. My wife and I live in a home that has been in her family for a long time. When we only had one grandchild, and it seemed that we would only ever have the one, it was really easy to just decide that the house would go to her. Now it'll have to be worked out somehow.

I think that the Free Will website is designed to support a vast array of charitable organizations, not only those with a Masonic connection.
