Please join me as I read an essay I first wrote in May of 2021.
It is about the Forget Me Not, that little flower that since the 1950’s has grown in use to become a Masonic symbol in its own right. Probably our newest Masonic symbol.
The story about how it came to be such may be true, or it may be a myth. By the grace of God, no one alive today was subject to the horrors one would have to have suffered through in order to have first hand knowledge of the situation.
But, it simply doesn’t matter if the story is true or a myth. Freemasons understand the power of Myth, and this story is powerful indeed.
I hope that you enjoy hearing it, and my thoughts about it.
