“Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards; there it enters the roots of the vines, to be changed into wine; a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy” most worshipful brother Ben Franklin in a letter to a French religious correspondent of his in 1779
I think this is incredibly profound and significant in an age where slogans wearing brogans are knocking on every door asking for every kind of attention in the form of social media technology whispers and of course these incredibly addictive devices that we like to hold in our hand and oogle Google appreciatively.
Actions speak louder than words and if we can exhibit and live the Masonic values that we have sworn to uphold not promised mind you but sworn, and we’re taking our obligations a little more seriously the world in my opinion would be a far better place and think more kindly of our ancient craft
Most of us, in the US anyway, wear at least a Masonic ring, if not quite a bit more bling.
So, we are recognizable, if someone is looking.
If they see us acting out our Masonic values, they will think kindly of our Craft.
Of course, that works in the opposite way as well, so we do very well to properly regulate our behaviors. Not much worse than the Road Rage Dude driving like an ass, with all those Masonic Medallions on the back of his car!
