Most excellent MW. You are always welcome. Next time you are down we must do the walk through of our old Masonic and Eastern Star Home. Meal is on me!! Jje GH
Oh my MWB.... I humbly stand corrected on the Grand Mound topic. Please check your email. Thank you for this fun research journey. I enjoyed it. Fraternally, johnny gh. glo.

Sounds great Brother!
Any update on Grand Mound? I posted a question about it on FB and at least some of our guys seem to think I'm up to no good even asking about it!! ;-)

It's OK Brother.
I posted just a question about it on FB, and thought I might be murdered for questioning things, but I lived, so all is well!
Actually, and seriously, you've led me to a very interesting speculation...
Prior to Grand Mound turning in its Charter, it attempted to move to the Olympia area.
Olympia is perhaps 25 miles from the place Grand Mound was located, and those are 25 difficult miles (or would have been on horseback.)
But, there was another population center growing just to the south of them, perhaps 3 or 4 miles south, all flat easy miles.
Why, I wonder, were they considering a move to Olympia over such distance, when it would have been so much easier to look south?
I have noted in my Lodge newsletter that you are and always will be a contemporary key influencer and thinker in our gentle craft.
Thank you very much, W Brother. I am truly honored by your support and friendship!
