I found this year’s conference very insightful. The presentations and presenters were exceptional. Whether or not one seeks an deeper understanding and experience of Masonic esotericism, I believe it is important that we as Masons understand that many in our fraternity and those considering petitions seek this knowledge and we have a responsibility as leaders in the Craft to help them find the path to that which they seek. I’m marking my calendar for the first weekend of October 2023 to attend next year.

I will certainly be back next year too!

Your point that those of us in Lodge leadership positions need to be able to point the way for those new Masons who are esoterically inclined is very well taken.

If a new Mason asks us about esoteric subjects, we can't greet his question with a blank stare, nor can we tell him that esotericism plays no part in Freemasonry.

Rather we need to be able to point him to resources, and ideally to other Masons who can help him take his first steps in the right direction. By doing so we are fulfilling our responsibilities to this man we've initiated.

For that reason, I think that this conference should be well attended by all sorts of Freemasons, not only those with a strong personal interest in the esoteric side of Freemasonry.

I agree, it was an amazing conference. The biggest topic that i feel outlined Esoterism and Masonic education, was from Ben Wallace. If we don't implement such a program, eventually we will be reading more about the incline of lodges closing its doors.

With all the negative and divisional influences happening around us through Oligarchy, now is the time to step up so new members find what they are looking for, and hold our communities together.

Now would be a great time to introduce the educational program by Washington Masonic Education and Research.

I think that you are 100% correct. All of our United States Grand Lodges would do well to follow the GLNC's lead and create Grand Lodge operated and sponsored esoteric educational programs. We have brothers who can teach the material, and we need to teach the material if we hope to meet the needs of the overwhelming majority of younger men that are joining our Craft today.

As for the Jurisdiction of Washington, I think that we do an excellent job teaching Lodge management. If we could replicate our success in those endeavors with a program of esoteric education we would truly be doing outstanding work.

I'm sorry that we didn't have more chance to talk on Sunday. I was fairly wiped out after a very late night prior. I hope to have the opportunity to see you again very soon.

"We should embrace, not hide, the esoteric aspects of our initiatory society." now more than ever before.

Yes indeed. So many men knocking on our doors today are demanding it, and if they don't receive it they will vote with their feet.
