Safe travels!

(Not for gossip, but maybe find out what happened with MW Everett in Utah.)

I'll have to see what I hear. But, alas, it probably won't be much.

Have a good trip! I won't be there this year.

Thank you! It'll be interesting and fun. I presume my last one.

Safe and enjoyable travels Brother. We were discussing recognition in a Lodge I visited last week here, St. Andrew's #1 Lodge, the oldest in Canada, celebrating 275 years this year! Our Grand Master is going I believe, Andrew Beeler. Perhaps you'll meet.

Thank you Brother. 275 years, that's a very old Lodge indeed! Perhaps I will have an opportunity to meet your GM. In my experience a North American Grand Master not being able to attend is pretty rare.

I mention this committee in my book, actually. Our own MW Williamson was on it last time I believe and has spoken on it at our local Lodge of Research.

Now I'm going to have to find it in your book! It is a fascinating Committee to be a part of. The normal terms are 7 years, and limited to one term. I've had a shorter time of it because I took over in the middle of a term. As I go out at the end of the COGMNA this year, we'll end up electing someone to take my place, from either Western Canada, the Western US, or Mexico. (We are selected to serve regionally to ensure that every part of North America is represented.)

MW Brother, have you considered recording this presentation to help those less informed better understand the inner workings of these processes for maximum reach? If this is something you're open to and does not violate Masonic code, I would be willing to assist with recording and posting this to a platform of your choosing.

Thank you Brother. I appreciate your very kind offer, as my own skills at recording are quite limited. I did though plan on making it available some way or another after the fact, and recording it might be just the trick.
