Of course the one thing you mention MW is how a Lodge just goes through the motions to open read the records from the previous month and the usual couple words said about the following month or something at another Lodge and then a closing and off we go home again for another month.....the Light can be dimmer than it should quite often.

Our ritual lays the path to be a good Mason. It starts when the candidate first kneels for prayer and then blind fold and told to follow you conductor and fear no danger. He immediately feels he is with good people . Learns by lessons why we exist through being born again as a Brother. If he did not learn with this journey, he did not have a very good coach
