MWPGM Bailey, this essay made me think of an annual celebration in Pocahontas County WV. It will be the weekend of the "Road Kill Cook-off"! I remember that a winner one year was "The Front Left Ford Fender Stew". The stew was boiled in an inverted fender over an open wood fire! Y'all might try something like this for an open field display. In WV these celebrations are often accompanied by a few swigs of "moonshine"!
Now that's funny! We used to have a Lodge that would claim its dinners to be roadkill, but they never thought to cook or serve them in a fender! I could certainly see chilli done that way too!
Brother the last experience was truly one to behold. Unless something unavoidable occurs count me in! Great Brothers, awesome food, and a wonderful experience.
