I mentioned before our Zoom meeting started the other day that I am planning ahead for 2024 since I am a SW this year and I want to do more than the usual opening and closing and business for the Lodge.
It is indeed excellent and still very widely read among French and Belgian FM. The historic part is somewhat dated, but the rest remains relevant and pleasant to read.
I am glad to know that it remains a frequently used resource among French and Belgian Freemasons. It is important I think that we preserve the great works of the past by continuing their use today.
The other book often recommended (or gifted) to new members is La symbolique maçonnique du troisième millénaire (The massonic symbolic for the third millennium) by Irène Mainguy, the librarian of the Grand Orient Library. It draws on and cites other authors such as Wirth or Boucher and offers an esoteric analysis of all the symbols and rituals of the three degrees.
Thank you as always MW

goodnight
I think that there is much in these that a solid educational program could be based upon.
Is this available as a physical publication? I am interested in reprinting through my publishing company.
I don't know. I've never encountered these before.
I would like to get a copy of this book. To hard to read on my phone
Me too! I greatly prefer physical books, but I've not encountered a physical copy.

Excellent timing, MW. We just did an informal Rusty EA degree for our EA newly transferred from TX. He’s working on proving up as an EA.
Perhaps I’ll have him present his favorite passages from this book as part of our regular Masonic education.
Awesome! I think it is a superb introduction, or in this case re-introduction.

Well I will just read it on the phone, I find it very informative . Thanks for posting
The differences in our Rituals from one jurisdiction to another has always intrigued me. Excellent share. More!
Thank you. I have shared this to my Esoteric Study Group. Peace.
