Agreed, Brother. The Masonic Park is a really wonderful place to camp! Not because of its amenities, many campgrounds are nicer in that way, including the Lewis and Clark State Park we are going to on this trip. (It is really, really nice.) But because of the people there. There is just something quite wonderful about being surrounded by one's Brothers and friends.
I don't make it up there often, it is just too far from my home, and traffic is just too awful.
Yes the traffic thru or around Seattle has been my nightmare often. At least you could get to the newer Master's abode downstairs at "Landmark on the Sound"! For about a year, I was recruited to live in the Grand Master's Apartment there, to scare off the "Ghost Hunters" and kids who would climb fire escapes to the 4th floor and try to slide a window open.
No, I don't think that things like this should be kept to Masons only, because there is no better way for a potential Mason to get to know other Masons than events like this.
If a Mason who is coming knows someone who would make a great addition to our Craft, I hope that he will invite that fellow along. Great opportunity for him to know us, and for us to get to know him.
MWPGM Bailey, I enjoyed several Campgrounds in WA State, but mostly enjoyed a few sites in the Masonic Family Park near Granite Falls.

Yep, and its getting worse I'm afraid. Sometimes it is barely rolling all the way from Fort Lewis to Smokey Point now.
How many visits would you like a Seeker to have before attending an event like this do you think? Or do you think perhaps keep it to the Brethren?

Awesome! I am really looking forward to this.
MW: The commute is a bit long so I will have to pass on this trip.
Yeah, I fear that can be a problem!
