Well, I've decided that infantilizing myself might not be all bad...

If I can convince Melinda to hire a naughty nurse for my sponge baths.

The hilarious part of this is that I am 16 years older than you and no one noticed. I'll admit that I have one of those bottles, but I have outgrown it for one that has a little slit in the top that allows liquid to seep out when I tip the cup and I can slurp the water from the slit. Of course I am older...

Does your slurpy cup have a weighted and curved bottom so that when you set it on its side, it stands itself back up? As the old tagline goes: Inquiring minds want to know!

Nope! I gagitated from that one and now I have a Big Boy Cup

Heck, im only 40 and have almost an identical bottle i got from our friend Andre's shop, InkNutz. Love the bottle.

Yep, the thing is handy as hell. I like it, even if it was designed for a toddler!

Would you care to share the brand of this marvelous jug? Always looking for an upgrade.

Cameron M. Bailey's avatar

It's not here, so I can't check the brand, but I'll try to remember to follow-up when it returns.

I presume that, as Mike mentioned above, Andre's got them. Might want to give him or Mary a call:

You’re assuming that it’s coming back. How quaint.

You're probably right. Sort of like the tools children borrow.

MWPGM Bailey, Have you ever got to ride up to a Lodge room on one of those electrified chair lifts? As we get older, us Masons need such a contraption.

Cameron M. Bailey's avatar

I'm lucky in that my Masonic Temple has a genuine elevator!

But, that said, my Scottish Rite Valley has a mighty long and steep staircase up to the Lodge Room!

What an awesome picture!

Thanks! The kid is cute, but really stubborn (which they blame on me) and really loud (which they also blame on me.)

I remember, as a really little kid, that I loved to put on my cowboy boots and stomp all over the hardwood floors at my grandparent's house. Perhaps this is karma.

Do you remember that the Masonic Lodge in Friday Harbor just put an elevator on their back wall, outside of the wall. Then again, the only working elevator at Landmark on the Sound was too small to carry a stretcher? Hmmm ..

We've got a couple buildings in our little downtown that have done something similar. Built elevator shafts for historic buildings, exterior to the building itself. A very good, and I presume much less costly solution.

We're glad that you're enjoying your Verity sippy cup so much!

It is awesome! But, alas, stolen by a two year old bandit!

Epic... Once you put the magic glasses on, you can never take them off. 🤣

Yep, can't unsee it now!
