How wonderful it was in Virginia these past few days to have men I’ve never met before, all leaders of our Ancient Craft, walk up to me and tell me that they read Emeth. My most sincere Thank You, to all of you.
To all of you who share these posts, exposing the Masons of your Jurisdictions to Emeth, thank you very much! Our continual growth is due to your sharing of the posts you enjoy, and through your doing so we are able to bring our positive message of Lodge improvement, and the goal of creating truly Legendary Freemasonry to more and more Masons every week.
A few hours ago we delivered the Annual Report of the Commission on Information for Recognition. No doubt disappointing a great many men around the world, and pleasing others. It is interesting work, and vital work to ensure that Freemasonry remains able to properly function throughout our vast world, no matter the differences in religions, languages, politics, or cultures.
Next year we will do all of that once again, but in Seattle.
The Report will be published on the Commission’s website soon, it and a great deal more information about Grand Lodge recognitions can be found here.
In news that will be noticed by every Lodge leader in the United States, soon the Short Talk Bulletin will no longer arrive to your home via USPS. It’ll be coming to you electronically instead.
As the STB has been going out via the US Mail for right around a century now, that is quite a change, but certainly seems to be the correct decision given the ways most people prefer to communicate today.
I presume that this change will result in both greater reach for the publication, and greater impact.
No post of thanks should ever go out without giving a huge Thank You to all of you who support Emeth with a paid subscription! None of this would be possible without your financial participation. Thank You!
Lastly, a personal note to RW Robert Mercer of Maine.
RW Mercer was one of the very first and most active supporters of Emeth, staying up super late to chat with us every Sunday on Rummer & Grapes, giving all of us his friendship and fellowship.
Just so you know RW, your Deputy Grand Master did track me down to give me your kind greetings! Thank you Brother!
Thanks for all the posts.🙏
Brother Cameron,
I must say that gratis the society I express with warm regards gratitude for the impact your choice of discussions have on the members of the fraternity coming from a social- casual platform much as Duke Montague did during the creation of the 1723 Constitution; he was delegated by the brethren to encourage a wider population to join the fraternity while he himself was not a Freemason. A catalyst you, and others like yourself including myself reflect a value that is supported by our principles, and correlates positively with our tenets. Thanks again, and God bless us.
