For a long time now we have been joining together over Zoom, on Sunday evenings for fellowship and discussion of Freemasonry. I’ve named these gatherings Rummer & Grapes, after one of the founding Lodges of what we now call the United Grand Lodge of England.
I chose to do this on Sunday evenings, because it was the only possible evening that I could consistently attend due to my duties as Grand Master, but I was always concerned that Sunday evenings are likely not the best day for a lot of people who participate here.
I’ve wanted to include similar Zoom gatherings on other days of the week for quite some time now, and now that I’m no longer in the East I’m finally able to do so.
We will have the first such gathering on:
Wednesday, June 29 at 7:30 PM, Pacific Time
I hope that you will save the date and consider joining us. It is my hope that by choosing the Fifth Wednesday, this gathering will not fall opposite of any regular Lodge Meeting.
As with Rummer & Grapes, an email will go out to all those who hold a paid subscription to Emeth on the 29th at 3:00 PM, with login information and a suggested topic to get our discussion started.
Also like Rummer & Grapes, this gathering will be limited to those holding a paid subscription, for without their support none of this would be possible.
I hope to see you there on the 29th!
M W Cameron,
St John Lodge #9 has a ZOOM meeting every meeting other than their stated on the third Wednesday, so I will be unable to join your new R&G.
Sorry,
Tom
