Our next book will be Contemplative Masonry by Brother C.R. Dunning.
Check out what it’s all about: Contemplative Masonry, Basic Applications of Mindfulness, Meditation, and Imagery for the Craft.
It is available from Amazon, including a Kindle edition here.
Let’s read it between now and Wednesday July 6. On that day we’ll have a discussion thread to talk about it, and that evening we’ll have a discussion over Zoom. These discussions will only be open to those holding a paid subscription to Emeth.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about this book, and a lot of Brothers I really respect have spent some time with Brother Dunning, and admire him.
I think we can stand to learn a great deal from this book.
When we’ve finished Contemplative Masonry, we’ll move on to Observing The Craft by Andrew Hammer.
This is one of the finest books exploring what a Lodge should be that I’ve ever read. We will get a lot out of exploring it together.
It is available from Mindhive Books here, or Amazon here.
After Observing The Craft we will move on to In Search Of Light by MW Robert Davis.
This is a superb book, and study guide, for our Craft Degrees, exploring the meanings behind the meanings.
It is available directly from the author here.
I think that our first book club was a lot of fun, and that we all got some excellent ideas to pursue. I look forward to these next three books, and I hope that you do too!
As always, Thank You for your support of Emeth.
