No doubt you’ve noticed that things have been a little different here on Emeth the past few days. Instead of essays and discussions, I’ve been posting audio of ‘best of’ posts from late summer and early fall of 2021.

I’ve not been able to post to Notes, or in Chat, here on Substack, nor has there been anything new on my other two publications.

Lastly, I’ve been unable to acknowledge or respond to any of the Comments left on posts.

Sorry about that.

I took a ship to Alaska, and was without communications of any kind for a bit over a week.

I’m back now, so everything can return to normal.

It was a great trip, and a badly needed break, I believe the first complete break from communications technology for a lot of years.

Well, actually, I could be lying to you. If I am, I’m sorry about that. But, if I am, I’m probably dead, so, you know…

I hope that I’m back home now, and I hope that it was a great trip. But, actually I’m writing this before I have left for it. I figure I’ll be a bit too overwhelmed on returning home to actually remember to send out this notice of my return, so I thought I’d better take care of it now.

I do want to thank you for your patience while I was away. I hope that you enjoyed the posts that should have automatically posted at 3:00 AM each day.

I’ll be back on Notes, back in Chat, and back writing essays and starting discussions here right away! I’ll also be regularly posting elsewhere on Substack once again.
