MWPGM Bailey, the NY Army Nat'l Guard flew me to the Race Relations Equal Opportunity Institute at Patrick Air Force Base Florida. After my 2 week "residence" short Course, I was a "certified" RR/EO Counselor Instructor at a Battalion HQ in Buffalo NY. It now appears that the US Military is not as supportive of Race Relations Equal Opportunity? This does disturb me!

To those who have fallen, may their memory be a blessing.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

by Lt.-Col. John McCrae - May 3,1915

Sadly my brethren I also am dismayed like PM Gregory Brown with the situation developing not only in my own country (UK) but also around the world.

Our various hard won freedoms are gradually being eroded by the promulgation of fake news and the manipulation of the general populace.

I fear that as Freemasons we may find ourselves on someone's hate list because we support the Brotherhood of Man and the concept of Universal Brotherhood.

“You have a republic… if you can keep it”, comes to mind.

I hope that we can consider the importance of the responsibility that citizenship entails for each of us. Whether at the state, local, or federal levels.

The price each generation has paid for our freedom was immeasurably high, the failure to maintain our freedom would cost significantly more.

Excellent topic Brother.
